How much does it cost?
Most teams land around $88 per season — basically the price of a month of fancy coffees, except this habit gets you goals instead of jitters.
What’s the time commitment?
Totally depends on your squad. Most teams skip the whole “practice makes perfect” thing and just show up for games. No 5‑day‑a‑week boot camps here — your social life is safe.
What equipment do I need?
You’ll need cleats, shin guards, and a jersey. Some teams hand out jerseys like Halloween candy, others ask you to buy one for about $15 — cheaper than a disappointing date and way more fun.
How do I get a jersey?
Your team might provide one, or you might grab one from the league. Just ask your captain so you don’t show up wearing your uncle’s faded gym shirt from 1994.
What are the skill levels?
We’ve got two delicious flavors:
Casual — perfect for newbies, returners, and “I haven’t played since middle school but I swear I used to be good” energy. Expect a mix of beginners and a few undercover ballers.
Skilled — for players who know how to pass to space, make smart runs, and probably fall asleep thinking about formations.
Is slide tackling allowed?
Nope! Slide tackling is banned. Save the dramatic slides for movie auditions — we’re here for fun, not ER visits.
How long are the seasons?
We pack 7 to 9 games into each season — just enough soccer to keep you happy without turning your life into a full‑blown ESPN documentary.
How many seasons are there in a year?
We run three seasons: Winter, Spring, and Fall. Why not Summer? Because we love you — and we don’t want anyone melting into the turf.
How many referees do you use?
We roll with a dual‑referee system — two sets of eyes, twice the chance they’ll catch your “accidental” handball.
Are your referees certified?
Yep! Our refs are certified pros who’ve survived years of adult‑league shenanigans. They’re basically soccer therapists with whistles.
How many teams are in the league?
Each division — Casual and Skilled — usually has 7 to 8 teams, giving us around 14 to 16 teams total. Big enough for variety, small enough that you won’t forget who nutmegged you last week.
Do you have an age‑restricted division?
Starting Fall 2025, we’re launching an Over 40 men / Over 30 women division for players who want to compete with a little more experience and a little less sprint‑til‑you‑collapse energy.
What’s the best way to get involved?
Hit our Free Agent registration page like it’s a flash sale. You can message the league too — but heads‑up: we’re overflowing with dudes. If you’re a guy, bringing a woman teammate is like showing up with VIP access.
When can I expect a response about joining?
We monitor registrations and usually reach out a couple months before the season starts. Outside that window, replies might be slower — this league is a passion project, not our day job.
Can I join as an individual, or do I need a team?
Solo players are absolutely welcome — we love helping people find new soccer friends. Guys: bringing a woman friend boosts your chances like crazy. Got a full team? Even better — slide into our inbox.
If I want to start my own team, do I need a full roster?
Nope! Start with whoever you’ve got. We’ll help fill your roster with free agents. Just know: women free agents are rarer than a unicorn scoring a bicycle kick, so captains who recruit women early get a big advantage.
