Soccer Player Responsibilities:
⭐ Player Responsibilities & Obligations:
The Phoenix Adult Soccer League is built for players who love the game, love the community, and love keeping things fun. To help everyone enjoy a smooth, safe, and positive experience, we’ve put together a quick guide to the key responsibilities every PASL player should follow. Whether you’re joining us from Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix, or Gilbert — please take a moment to read through these important points.
⭐ Soccer Waivers:
Before you hit the field, every player must complete the PASL Liability Waiver. Soccer is an amazing sport, but it does come with physical demands — from rolled ankles to pulled muscles to the classic “I definitely should’ve stretched more” moment.
By signing the waiver, you acknowledge the risks and help us keep the league running smoothly. If you have questions or concerns, just reach out — we’re here to help.
⭐ Medical Insurance:
Injuries happen, even in a fun and casual league like ours. That’s why we strongly encourage all players to have proper medical or accidental coverage. Many short‑term policies are affordable and easy to obtain through your insurance provider.
If you’re having trouble finding a plan, let the league know — we can point you in the right direction. And if you already have a great policy or know of one, share it with us so we can help other players stay protected too.
⭐ Respect the Officials:
Love them or hate them, one thing stays the same: you must respect the officials. They’re human, they make mistakes, and they’re doing their best to keep the match fair and fun.
If you ever feel an official missed something or acted incorrectly, don’t confront them on the field. Instead, notify the league and we’ll address it appropriately. Respect is non‑negotiable — it’s part of being a PASL player.
⭐ Report Unsafe Players or Conditions:
Your safety matters. If you notice unsafe field conditions or a player behaving recklessly, report it directly to the league — not just casually to a referee.
We run a relaxed, community‑focused league, but we take safety seriously. Anyone displaying dangerous or unsportsmanlike behavior may be removed, and we’ll fix any field issues as quickly as possible.
